Account & data deletion
You may request deletion of your user account and associated personal information processed through Kathucoda’s digital services. Some records (e.g. billing or attendance retained for legal or legitimate school operations) may be kept in anonymized or minimized form where the law allows.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to kathucoda@gmail.com from the email address registered on your account, or state your full name and phone number if you enrolled without email.
- Use the subject line: Account deletion request — Kathucoda.
- Optionally include: app platform (iOS / Android), and whether you are a student, parent, or staff — this helps us locate the correct profile.
We will confirm receipt when possible and process requests within a reasonable time (often within 30 days, depending on verification and legal retention needs). If you use the mobile app, you may also use the in-app Delete account action to open these instructions and start an email to our privacy inbox.
Deleting an app from your device does not automatically delete data we hold on servers — you must contact us as above unless we offer an automated self-service deletion flow in a future app version.
Response times
We aim to respond to general enquiries within a few business days. Privacy and deletion requests are prioritized; complex cases may take longer if we must verify identity or coordinate with school administration.
